For more than 20 years, I've been working with and training animals, using evidence-based approaches to behavioural management. I have a MSc from the University of Edinburgh, a PhD from the University of Glasgow and I've lectured on undergraduate animal science degree courses. Having worked extensively with dogs and horses, I'm currently a post-doctoral research fellow in farm animal welfare at the University of Leeds, working specifically with pigs.
